Emma Alviz, 73, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at her home.
Born in Manila, Philippines, she had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 11 years coming from Queens Village, NY.
Before retiring she employed by Transamerica Leasing. She was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Leonardo Alviz of Port St. Lucie; her daughters, Alma Suarez and her husband Menardo of Hamilton, NJ, Angie Carle and her husband Matthew of Yonkers, NY, Armine Alviz of Queens Village, NY and Anne Tagarelli of Amityville, NY; her grandchildren, Melanie, Melissa, Samantha, Brandon and Frankie; her brothers, Jesse Magno, Ariel Magno and Norman Magno and her sister Cynthia Javier.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie. Entombment will follow immediately in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
