Howard Sodokoff of Harbour Ridge, Palm City, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at his home. He was 81.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Howard and his wife, Lois, raised their family in Greenwich, Connecticut. They lived at Harbor Ridge for the past 13 years. Lois passed away in 2015. They were original owners at Harbour Ridge from 1984.
Howard received his Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He was a member of Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club and Burning Tree Country Club in Greenwich. He loved Dartmouth and remained active with the institution throughout his lifetime.
Howard spent his career as an Investment banker. He was an avid golfer and loved bridge. He enjoyed playing at Harbour Ridge and was very active with Khatib Bridge and Education Center of Palm City.
A loving father and grandfather, Howard is survived by his sister Nancy; sons, Larry and Scott Sodokoff and his grandchildren, Spencer, Jessica, Rachel, Justin and Jason Sodokoff all of Greenwich, CT. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren and enjoying their activities.
There will be a memorial gathering from 12:30 to 2:30 PM on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at The Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club, Palm City. Rabbi Matthew Durbin of Temple Beit HaYam will offer a prayer at 2:00 PM.
In addition, a reception in Connecticut celebrating Howard will be held from 12-3 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Burning Tree Country Club, 120 Perkins Road, Greenwich, Ct.
